Wednesday's softball double header at Ohio State's Buckeye Field got off to quite the start.
With an early 10 a.m. start and a 12:30 p.m. game set to follow, OSU junior Shelby Hursh kept the visiting Penn State Nittany Lions guessing all morning long en route to a no-hitter. Hursh, who hails from Tipton, IN, had previously thrown a no-hitter while a freshman. Her six innings of no-hit ball Feb. 16, 2014 against Utah Valley was also the last time a Buckeye pitcher had accomplished the feat.
The 20-8-1 Buckeyes' starter had the Nittany Lions guessing all afternoon long.
