Coming into Friday night’s NCAA Tournament games, very few — if any — who weren’t wearing scarlet and gray, expected the No. 11 Ohio State Buckeyes to be able to defeat the red-hot Big 12 Tournament champs, the No. 6 Iowa State Cyclones. Yet, behind a dominating performance by Kaleb Wesson — coupled with an outstanding evening by Keyshawn Woods — the Buckeyes extended their season by at least one more game.
Next up for OSU is Kelvin Sampson’s third-seeded Houston Cougars, the American Athletic Conference regular season champions.
