The Buckeyes may have been eliminated from the NCAA Tournament in the Round of 32, but at least one player will get another chance to suit up before calling it a college career. Senior Jae’Sean Tate will compete in this three-day event, which will pit 32 four-man teams (including players from every DI basketball conference) in a 3-on-3 tournament.
Teams will feature seniors who are out of college eligibility and will compete for a $100k prize pool, with each game adding at least a grand to the team’s purse. Tate will be one of four Big Ten players to have the opportunity to show off in front of scouts one last time, with each conference’s competitors now-playing for the same team.
