The Ohio State men's gymnastics team captured its first Big Ten championship in nine years and its 13th overall after events concluded yesterday at St. John Arena. With 434.450 points, the Buckeyes outlasted runner-up Illinois (429.700).
Leading the charge was all-around champion Sean Melton. He tallied 89.750 points to become the first Ohio State all-around titlist since Randy Monahan in 2004. Buckeye Alec Yoder managed second (87.550).

Tanner Tully scattered eight hits in eight innings and Ohio State defeated Bethune-Cookman 6-2 on Friday at Bill Davis Stadium for its 10th win in its past 11 games.
