Though the Ohio State Buckeyes are on their first of two bye weeks this season, coming off of their 34-10 win over then-No. 25 Michigan State, Ryan Day’s squad is seeing its national perception increase rapidly.
The Buckeyes have risen all the way to No. 3 in the AP Poll and No. 4 in the Coaches Poll, while they are within 0.1 points of taking over the top spot in the SP+ rankings from Alabama. In the SB Nation FanPulse survey, college football aficienados from around the country have the Buckeyes in third, but the always insightful LGHL readers have OSU as the top team in the country, naturally.
