A relatively quiet Monday in the world of Ohio State recruiting still left the Buckeyes a little wary about some news that one of their recent commitments received. Just nine days after Ohio State received a commitment from '16 defensive tackle Malik Barrow, one of the latest additions to the recruiting class is already being pursued by another top college football program, despite his verbal pledge to the Buckeyes. Barrow received an offer on Monday from Nick Saban and Alabama, as the Crimson Tide look to try and shake up Barrow's recruitment.
The 6'3, 270-pound defensive tackle is rated as a four-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite, and is ranked as the nation's 26th best defensive tackle in addition to being the 42nd best prospect at any position from the state of Florida.
