It hasn't been the busiest week for the Buckeyes on the recruiting trail, but Tuesday still left us with a few interesting bits of information regarding Ohio State targets at cornerback and linebacker.
Buckeyes offer Jones
2017 cornerback Deon Jones picked up an offer from Ohio State on Tuesday morning. Jones attends Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C. and is rated the number six overall cornerback in his class. Though Jones is young, he's compiled a nice offer list up to this point with his early favorites being Maryland and Clemson. Jones fits the bill of how the Buckeyes are looking to transform their secondary: long, lengthy players that can run and play man-to-man coverage.
