Ohio State recruiting: State Secrets - Buckeyes scout 2016 TE Austin Conrad, offer 2017 TE Cole Kmet

A new offer was sent out on Tuesday to 2017 tight end prospect Cole Kmet. From Illinois, Kmet has taken off on the recruiting trail the last several months and has positioned himself into being one of the top tight ends in his class. Not yet rated by the major recruiting sites, he has picked up offers from Ohio State, Baylor, Iowa, and North Carolina since last month. At 6'4, 220 pounds, he presents a huge mismatch for defensive backs and linebackers in the passing game, but is also physical enough to move people around in the trenches.
