With Ezekiel Elliott and Jalin Marshall leaving Ohio State early to play in the NFL, coach Urban Meyer needed four star athletes at running back and all purpose back in order to have a great recruiting class. He brought in what could be a thunder and lightning combo to do just that.
Antonio Williams is the thunder, a 5’11” 217 pound running back from New London, North Carolina. Demario McCall is the lightning, an all purpose back who is 5’11 and 180 pounds from North Ridgeville, Ohio.
Antonio Williams is a north and south runner and McCall just tries to find some open space and use his speed to take it all the way.
