With five-star linebacker Baron Browning and four-star Pete Werner committing to Ohio State recently, the Buckeyes are right on the heels of the Crimson Tide for the top 2017 recruiting class. They are back up to 17 players committed as well. Alabama’s total score is 305.13 with 24 players in the class. Ohio State’s score is 300.82 with 7 fewer recruits.
From everything I have heard Urban Meyer probably won’t be able to take more than 21 players so Ohio State may not end up with the No. 1 class. Let’s look at the top five ranked Universities as well as a couple of others who could possibly have the top ranked class come signing day.
