Since taking over the Ohio State basketball program, Chris Holtmann has only impressed. With 12 games now under his belt, Holtmann has led the Buckeyes to an impressive 9-3 record. To go along with this, Ohio State is also 2-0 in conference games, tied for first place in the Big Ten with Michigan State and Purdue.
Holtmann hasn’t found this success on luck, though. Upon entering his first season, he brought Ohio State’s 2017 recruiting class to No. 2 in the conference in a short amount of time. The program is also off and running in its 2018 class, already holding four verbal commitments with a ranking of No.
