Ohio State Buckeyes football recruiting slowed down in the month of August due to the dead period being in place along with the investigation into Urban Meyer. However, now that one of the nation’s best recruiter is now back to working in Columbus, Ohio State will likely attack the recruiting landscape at full force.
The 2019 recruiting class is quickly shaping up with 14 verbal commitments at an average rating of .9241, according to 247sports, good for the No. 1 class in the Big Ten and No. 12 in the country.
While Ohio State will certainly work to add to this year’s class, the 2020 class is shaping to be one of the best in program history.
