Ohio State has 16 starting jobs to fill and depth to develop as it steers through spring practice. But in one case in particular, coach Urban Meyer said the Buckeyes are looking to a player who is not even on campus yet.
The most critical area of concern is the defensive line, and Meyer said after the first practice Tuesday “whether it has to be the year of development … I think we’re counting on one guy who’s not here yet, Bosa. He’s going to be in the rotation.”
Nick Bosa, the younger brother of former All-America defensive end Joey Bosa, is coming off a knee injury that knocked him out of the second half of his senior season at Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
