Ohio State linebacker Joshua Perry is probable to return Saturday against Rutgers, coach Urban Meyer said Tuesday.
Perry suffered a sprained right ankle less than two minutes into the Penn State game Saturday when his leg got tangled with cornerback Eli Apple trying to tackle receiver Chris Godwin on a 45-yard play.
“Joshua Perry is, as of this morning, probable,” Meyer said on the Big Ten coaches conference call. “Yesterday, he was questionable. But today is a big day because they’re going to go out and try to run him.”
