Ohio State will head into the game at Rutgers on Saturday with a more experienced linebacker on board than it had a week ago, after Dante Booker played extensively in place of the injured Joshua Perry in the win over Penn State last week.
“That’s career-changing experience,” coach Urban Meyer said after the top-ranked Buckeyes’ practice on Wednesday. “And he played a little bit the week before (against Maryland) and he did very well.
“He’s a young player still, a real sophomore who didn’t redshirt, and a guy that has really good potential, works real hard at it.
