Ohio State Names 19 Champions for 49-27 Win Against Rutgers

Ohio State named ten offensive players and nine defensive players as champions for their performances in Saturday's 49-27 win over Rutgers.

Co-offensive players of the game Justin Fields and Nicholas Petit-Frere are joined as champions on their side of the ball by running back Master Teague, left tackle Thayer Munford, tight ends Luke Farrell and Jeremy Ruckert and wide receivers Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson, Jameson Williams and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Tuf Borland, who was named both defensive and special teams player of the game for his performance in the Buckeyes' 22-point win, is joined on his side of the ball by eight other defensive champions: defensive ends Jonathon Cooper, Javontae Jean-Baptiste and Tyler Friday, defensive tackle Tommy Togiai, linebacker Justin Hilliard, cornerbacks Sevyn Banks and Shaun Wade and safety Josh Proctor.
