Ohio State men's volleyball | Cohesiveness pays off in national championship

The NCAA championship trophy won by the Ohio State men’s volleyball team on Saturday will always serve as a tangible reminder of what the Buckeyes achieved.

However, the players won’t need to see that trophy in a glass case years from now to remember what led the team to a second national title in six seasons.

The Buckeyes will forever carry with them the shared feeling that fueled their unique cohesiveness on the court.

“We’re not just teammates. We’re good friends in general,” said junior Miles Johnson, named most valuable player of the NCAA Tournament. “We don’t go to volleyball and then go our separate ways.
