After defeating Vanderbilt 4-0 in the second round, the Ohio State men's tennis team has advanced to the NCAA Regionals.
The Buckeyes (31-2) got off to a fast start thanks to a win from John McNally and Hunter Tubert in doubles play, followed by a clinching 6-3 victory from Alex Kobelt and Kyle Seelig.
Ohio State was just as dominant in singles play. Despite a rainstorm forcing the action inside, the Buckeyes gained complete control of all but one of the six matches. JJ Wolf registered a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Vanderbilt's Cameron Klinger, and later Tubert sealed the deal for the Buckeyes with a 6-3, 6-2 win.
