Ohio State men’s tennis will play for a national championship on Sunday.
The third-seeded Buckeyes advanced to the NCAA final by upsetting No. 2 seed TCU and doing so in dominant fashion, sweeping the Horned Frogs 4-0 in Saturday’s national semifinals in Orlando, Florida.
Ohio State will face either No. 1 seed Texas or No. 5 seed Virginia in Sunday’s national championship match, which is scheduled to start at noon and will be live-streamed on the Cracked Racquets YouTube channel.
After dropping the doubles point in its quarterfinal win over Georgia, Ohio State got off to a stronger start on Saturday as the Buckeyes doubles teams of Robert Cash and Justin Boulais and Andrew Lutschaunig and James Trotter each won their matches to put the first point on the board for the scarlet and gray.
