Seventeen straight titles.
It's almost incomprehensible.
But with a crushing 4-0 win over Purdue at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center Friday evening, the Ohio State men's tennis program clinched at least a share of its 17th consecutive Big Ten title.
Doubles pairs Robert Cash/Justin Boulais and Andrew Lutshaunig/J.J. Tracy earned 6-2 and 6-1 wins to claim the doubles point and get Ohio State out to a quick lead. No. 20 Cannon Kingsley wasted no time dispatching Purdue's Daniel Labrador, 6-1 and 6-4, No. 29 James Trotter rolled to a 6-1 and 6-0 win, and No. 46 Alexander Bernard dispatched Milledge Cassu 6-2 and 6-2 to complete the sweep in just one hour and 45 minutes of action.
