Ohio State men’s soccer secured its first Big Ten Tournament title in 15 years with a win over its rivals.
The top-seeded Buckeyes defended their home field at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium and won their first Big Ten Tournament championship since 2009 by defeating Michigan, 1-0, in Sunday’s Big Ten Tournament championship game.
Neither team scored for the game’s first 72 minutes until Parker Grinstead – who also scored the Buckeyes’ first two goals in their Big Ten Tournament semifinal win over Washington – put the home team on the board.
