With a dominant win at home, the No. 11 Buckeyes move to 2-0 on the season.
The Ohio State Buckeyes men’s lacrosse team continued their early-season run, rolling over Detroit with a 16-5 win in Columbus at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Despite Detroit scoring the first goal of the day, the game was never in doubt early in the first quarter. Senior defenseman Chris Mahoney evened out the score with 7:20 remaining in the first quarter to spark a four-goal run against the Titans.
Led by junior attackman J.T. Blubaugh, who had four goals on the day, the 11th-ranked Buckeyes led 4-1 after the first quarter.
