Keith Wesson was paying attention to what was happening with the Ohio State men’s basketball team. As an alumnus, the Westerville resident had one son committed to the program for 2017 and another strongly considering the Buckeyes.
So when three players transferred out in the span of two days, followed by the departure of assistant coach Jeff Boals, Wesson said he did some research. And what he found, Wesson said, was nothing to be concerned about.

“I did my due diligence to investigate that as best I could and came away with a good feeling about it,” he said Wednesday after his son Andre signed with Ohio State.
