Expectations are high for the Ohio State men’s basketball team as they open up the 2019-20 season tonight at Value City Arena against Cincinnati. After making the NCAA Tournament in each of Chris Holtmann’s first two seasons as head coach, the Buckeyes have a talented recruiting class coming into, along with a number of key veterans from last year’s team returning.
Preview
The biggest name amongst the returning Buckeyes is Kaleb Wesson, who averaged 14.6 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game last season. Wesson entered his name in the NBA Draft following last season but decided it was in his best interests to return to school for his junior season, removing his name from the draft pool prior to the deadline.
