Ohio State men's basketball | Trevor Thompson finds his rhythm on the court

Trevor Thompson is making the most of the second chance at his second chance.

After transferring from Virginia Tech to Ohio State and sitting out last season, the 6-foot-11 center opened this season as the starter in the middle for the Buckeyes, only to lose his spot to freshman Daniel Giddens after three games.

But now, after first the flu and then a hamstring injury sidelined Giddens, Thompson is back in the lineup and figures to start again today at Connecticut.

“He seems to be more comfortable in terms of getting into the flow of the game and the timing of things,” coach Thad Matta said.
