Ohio State men's basketball | Point guard from Huber Heights might come on board

Ohio State would have no problem adding another point guard to the mix next season.

That’s the message Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne coach Travis Trice said Buckeyes coach Thad Matta has told his son, D’Mitrick, as Ohio State continues to recruit the 6-1, 179-pound point guard. The Buckeyes have JaQuan Lyle returning for his sophomore season and are expected to land a signature from junior college transfer C.J. Jackson on Wednesday, leaving two available spots for their 2016 recruiting class.

D’Mitrick Trice remains an option to claim one of them.

“C.J. Jackson has committed there and coach Matta has said D’Mitrick is a big enough of an asset there that he’d have room for him,” Travis Trice told The Dispatch.
