If ever there was a chance Ohio State would overlook a fellow Big Ten team this season, it has arrived.
Saturday afternoon, the Buckeyes face off against woeful Rutgers. The Scarlet Knights have lost all 11 conference games this season and 26 straight conference games, including a first-round exit in the Big Ten tournament last year. Oddly enough, their last win came Jan. 11, 2015, against a Wisconsin team that would play for the national championship.
Today, Ohio State coach Thad Matta said what all coaches have to say -- that you can’t overlook a conference opponent regardless of record.
