Nestled near the players’ entrance to the court at T-Mobile Arena, Chris Jent had a faraway look on his face. About half an hour earlier, Ohio State had come up short in its upset bid against No. 2 UCLA as part of the CBS Sports Classic in Las Vegas, and Kentucky and North Carolina were about to get the second game of the doubleheader underway.
With 12 years of NBA coaching experience under his belt and a few stints as a player in the league, Jent is in his second go-round as a member of the Buckeyes coaching staff as an assistant to Thad Matta.
