When Chris Jent was hired as one of Thad Matta’s assistants during the offseason, the expectation was that he would address an occasionally stagnant Ohio State offense.
Nearly a month into the preseason and two weeks shy of the season opener, Jent said that remains a work in progress.
“It’ll be different,” Jent said Thursday at Value City Arena. “We’ll run some different stuff, but we’re not going to reinvent the game.”
At the least, a few tweaks should help after what statistically was the most challenging offensive season of Matta’s 12 years at OSU. According to KenPom.
