It doesn’t sound like it’s taken Chris Jent long to make an impact on the Ohio State culture.
Summer workouts are closed to reporters, as all Ohio State workouts are. But a few weeks after teammate Kam Williams told reporters that Jent has dazzled the Buckeyes with his shooting ability, today senior Marc Loving said Jent’s impact is felt immediately upon entrance into the practice gym.
“He’ll let you know he’s in the gym,” Loving said. “He’ll challenge anyone to a shootout competition and he swears he has the best jump shot.”
After working as an NBA assistant, NBA interim head coach and D-League head coach, Jent returned to his alma mater for a second stint as an assistant coach during the spring.
