Ohio State has offered a scholarship to Pickerington North prospect Jerome Hunter, coach Jason Bates has told The Dispatch.
Hunter, a member of the class of 2018, took an unofficial visit to campus today and texted Bates to let him know that the Buckeyes had offered.
Ohio State is the fifth school to offer the 6-5 Hunter, joining (in order) Xavier, Penn State, West Virginia and Michigan. The Wolverines offered last week.
247Sports rates Hunter as a three-star prospect and the No. 6 prospect in Ohio for the class of 2018. The Buckeyes have one verbal commitment for that class in Dane Goodwin, a shooting guard from Upper Arlington.
