Ohio State Marching Band prepares for international debut in London

They’ve enjoyed a worldwide virtual audience for years, thanks to viral videos of computer-designed onfield marching wizardry. Now the Ohio State University Marching Band is going international in person.

All 225 band members, plus directors and other staff members, leave Thursday night for London, where the band will perform before Sunday’s NFL International Series football game in Wembley Stadium. The Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars will play in the second of three NFL games to be played in London this year. Fans can stream the game live on Yahoo at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on Sunday, but they won’t see the band performance, university spokesman Joe Camoriano said.
