Ohio State marching band performs "Pictures at an Exhibition"

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the university's alumni band, Ohio State University Marching Band members formed an animated band director conducting during their halftime show Saturday .

They also formed a sousaphone i-dotter bowing, and a cannon image, complete with a loud "boom" during the "1812 Overture."

Russian compositions were featured, including Dmitri Shostakovich's " Festive Overture," Reinhold Glière's " Russian Sailors Dance," Pyotr Ilyich's " 1812 Overture," and “Promenade” and “The Hut of Baba Yaga”/”Great Gate of Kiev” from Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition."

The show concluded with a quadruple Script Ohio.
