Powers becomes the first Buckeye to announce he will enter the transfer portal following the conclusion of Ohio State’s regular season.
Powers flashed in limited action for the Buckeyes this season, recording five total tackles with a pass breakup. The highlight of his Ohio State career came in the Buckeyes’ season opener against Akron when he intercepted a pass off of a deflection by Eddrick Houston and returned it 29 yards for a touchdown.
