In 2020, you take what you can get. Looking at the long, long list of players not available for the Michigan State game yesterday, you could be forgiven for being more than a little worried about how things might shake out, especially given how Ohio State looked in their last game.
But here's the thing: Justin Fields was fine. His wide receivers were there. And that's... all Ohio State needed. In any other year, this would be the kind of ho-hum victory that is immediately forgotten in anticipation of greater things. But in this year, when games are hard to come by (nevermind victories), any football is good football, and a 40 point win over a conference opponent is very good football indeed.
