Ryan Day didn’t come away from Saturday’s 38-25 win at Penn State seeing major flaws from his Ohio State team. Plenty of minor things popped up, though, that he thinks the players and coaches need to work on.
One of them? Fixing the kicking game.
The Buckeyes sent veteran Blake Haubeil out for a 20-yard field goal near the end of the first quarter that he missed. They subsequently pulled him from the game due to injury and the miss – he told the coaches before the game his groin was bothering him – and inserted walk-on Dominic DiMaccio.
