Just over a week ago, Ohio State athletic director and school vice president Gene Smith announced that Ohio Stadium will begin to sell wine and beer during this upcoming season. While it is definitely a move in the right direction, it was more of a baby-step than a leap.
Not everyone in the stadium will be able to buy alcohol. Only fans sitting in the club or suite levels will have access. That accounts for about 4% of the entire stadiums capacity according to The Columbus Dispatch. So this basically means that the regular fans like you and I will see no change in our Ohio Stadium experience.
