Ohio State hosted a major transfer offensive tackle target over the weekend.
Per On3, former Rice offensive tackle Ethan Onianwa visited Columbus on Sunday, with the visit extending into Monday. Onianwa has been a three-year starter for Rice, primarily playing right tackle.
He’s coming off an excellent season where he allowed just one sack on 350 pass-blocking snaps. Per Pro Football Focus’ grades, Onianwa earned an overall grade of 74.6 and a pass-blocking grade of 79.3 in 2024. The 6-foot-6, 345-pound tackle will have one season of eligibility remaining.
Onianwa has also recently visited Iowa and Oklahoma.
