Ohio State hockey collectively completed a 5-0 sweep over the weekend, with the men beating Michigan, the women defeating Bemidji State and field (yes, we know it’s different) shutting out Michigan State.
On the men’s side, the 13th-ranked Buckeyes rallied after being down 2-0 in the second period to come away with a 3-2 in their Friday night matchup. With goals from freshman Tate Singleton, sophomore Quinn Preston and junior Austin Pooley, Ohio State managed a late-game comeback to defeat rival Michigan. Saturday, the Buckeyes completed the sweep with a similarly nail-biting performance which featured a late goal from Singleton to seal the victory for the home team.
