It's hard to find a coach more accessible to the media than Ryan Day, especially at a program of prominence like Ohio State.
For that reason, the Football Writers Association of America has named Day as its Super 11 Coach of the Year, an honor presented to a coach who provides "outstanding media accessibility to their program throughout the season, notably through consistent interview opportunities with the head coach, coordinators, assistant coaches, and players," an Ohio State press release stated.
"All you have to do is watch the press conferences when it comes to Ryan Day," FWAA president Bill Bender said in the Ohio State release.
