According to the Columbus Dispatch’s Adam Jardy, Ohio State sophomore forward Andre Wesson has been medically cleared to return to the basketball court after sitting out most of the summer due to an undisclosed medical condition.
Wesson’s father, Keith, told the Dispatch, “He was cleared to play this last Friday. Everything’s been resolved and cleared to play. He’ll be back at it this week. Truly a blessing.”
While that is positive news for Wesson, Ohio State still needs to sign off before he can rejoin his teammates. A team spokesperson told Jardy, “We are completing the medical evaluating process and anticipate having Andre back on the court shortly.
