Chris Ford, who coached six All-Americans and one NCAA champion from 1976-86 as Ohio State wrestling coach, died on Monday. He was 83.
Ford compiled a 115-92-3 record with the Buckeyes, fourth most in school history. He coached Jude Skove to the national title at 158 pounds in 1986, giving Ohio State its first NCAA champion in 20 years.
