Over the last couple of seasons, Ohio State football fans have been frustrated by the lack of running from the quarterback. We know that Ryan Day runs a different offense than Urban Meyer did, so fans aren’t expecting a full option or anything like that. They’d just like to see the QB scramble for yards when it’s open.
C.J. Stroud pretty much refused to do so until the final game of the season. It’s no coincidence that was the best game he played in his Ohio State football career. Now, the Buckeyes will have a new quarterback at the helm for the 2023 season.
