Having to replace talented players is nothing new for Urban Meyer, but he hasn’t faced a makeover quite like this. Last year Ohio State was forced to replace players like Ezekiel Elliott, Michael Thomas, and Braxton Miller on offense, but he had his offensive coaching staff returning. So far this year Curtis Samuel and Noah Brown have announced their intentions to go pro, while assistants Tim Beck and Ed Warinner have left for jobs with other schools. Not only does Ohio State have to replace talented players in the passing game, but they also have to try and reinvent themselves on offense.
