Ohio State head coach Ryan Day had convinced talented offensive players to join his first recruiting class which was predictable. After all he has proven to be one of the great offensive minds in college football.
But the new Buckeye head coach was slow to bring those on the other side of the ball on board. That’s no longer the case with Cody Simon and Darrion Henry joining the 2020 Ohio State recruiting class.
Recently he landed a top 50 player in cornerback Clark Phillips to join four star safety Lejond Cavazos in the defensive backfield. Now coach Day has filled in other positions.
