Ohio State football: Vonn Bell says 'I've done it all,' so is the NFL next?

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- How does Ohio State pull a five-star prospect from the South?

By promising everything.

A good education, a chance to compete for a national title, the opportunity to win personal accolades and the environment to develop into a top NFL draft pick.

That's how it got Vonn Bell.

And the Buckeyes made good on their promise.

"I feel like I've done it all," Bell said Thursday. "I finally got my tree in Buckeye Grove."

Yes. That was the last thing Bell had to do. The junior safety was named a first-team All-American by Sports Illustrated last Thursday, which means he'll be forever immortalized in the form of a tree on Ohio State's campus.
