ASHTABULA, Ohio – In what has been a summer of camps, Urban Meyer has just one more on his schedule, Ohio State’s annual “Friday Night Lights” July 22 in Ohio Stadium. But that will be all about work again.
The one he was part of Wednesday here was all about fun, and “giving back to this great community,” his hometown, Meyer said. For the fifth straight year he teamed up with fellow Ashtabula native Dean Hood, now an assistant coach at North Carolina-Charlotte, on a three-hour camp for youth up through the eighth grade, held on the indoor field of the expansive Spire Institute.
