Urban Meyer, even with his No. 2 Ohio State team taking on No. 3 Michigan Saturday with obviously much on the line in regards the College Football Playoff rankings, said just being part of the rivalry known as The Game is motivation enough this week.
The Game has been part of his life since he can remember, he said.
“I’m not sure it can mean more” than it did to him in his years growing up in Ashtabula, Meyer said on his weekly radio show on 97.1 TheFan today, taped earlier in the week. “I’m obviously very humbled … I look at it as a great honor to be part of this rivalry.
