Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer said that expects suspended wide receiver Torrance Gibson to resume his career with the Buckeyes next year.
“I believe that is the plan,” Meyer said on the Big Ten coaches teleconference this afternoon. “This all kind of happened in the last week, so we’re still dealing with it. I’ve had zero indication that he wants to leave. His focus is to be the best Buckeye he can possibly be.”
The university suspended Gibson on Monday for the fall semester for an unspecified violation of the code of student conduct.
