In his first year coaching the Ohio State football team Ryan Day hauled in a top five recruiting class. He only had one running back in the class but today graduate transfer Trey Sermon announced he will play for the Buckeyes.
It’s a great fit for both the former Oklahoma Sooner RB and the Buckeyes. With the exception of Master Teague and Demario McCall the Ohio State running backs are inexperienced.
Also, Teague and Marcus Crowley are dealing with injuries and McCall has bounced back and forth between H-back and RB, so Sermon will have a chance at earning significant playing time his senior year.
